Whilst a very large event takes place annually in Melbourne, the Churches in Bendigo have again combined with the local Rural Australians for Refugees to organise a more accessible event for our diocese, or at least for those close enough to Bendigo. This year, it is an evening vigil rather than a midday walk. The Melbourne event is a Walk as usual, starting at the State Library of Victoria at 2.00 p.m.
