Pray with us at Daily Mass streamed from the Plenary website

PLenaryMassStKiliansThroughout the Plenary Assembly, daily Mass will be streamed at 9.30 a.m. via the Plenary website.

Mass on Monday 4 October, celebrated by Bishop Shane Mackinlay at St Kilian’s Bendigo, will be streamed across the country as part of the National Plenary Programme. Please join Bishop Shane and our Members on the Feast of St Francis of Assisi online at 9:30 a.m.

Administrator of St Kilian’s, Fr Junray Rayna, and eleven parishioners will join Bishop Shane at the Mass, along with the Sandhurst Members and Facilitators, some Chancery staff and invited guests from diocesan agencies, as permitted under the current orders of the Chief Health Officer.

The Closing Mass will be streamed live from Brisbane on Sunday 10 October at 11.00 a.m. All Plenary Council Masses can be accessed from the Plenary Website.

Archbishop Costelloe, President of the Plenary Council, said the Masses being celebrated online allow people across the country to join in common prayer and worship with the Plenary Council as its focus.

“With millions of people living in locations where public Masses can’t be celebrated, this online option will help Council members and the wider faithful unite in liturgy,” he said.

“Where people can gather for Mass, the same prayers, readings and musical suggestions used for the Plenary Council Masses can be downloaded for use in each parish across the country.”

The prayers provided to members for their nourishment, including a range of prayer experiences such as lectio divina and the Examen, are also available for download and use.

During the Assembly we ask that you pray for the Members of the Plenary Council, that they may be guided by the Spirit and help lead the Church into a hope-filled future. If you would like to pray for the Plenary, you can find prayer resources at the Plenary Council Website, here.
