The building was named the ‘Josephite Learning Centre,’ to link the new facilities for students and their learning with the special charism of the school and its foundation. Bishop Shane blessed the new facilities, marking the comple- tion of the third stage of the total refurbishment on buildings dating back to 1904 and 1913. The areas have been innova- tively designed to cater for modern learning approaches while retaining the charism of St Liborius’ Primary School. 24 May: Every diocese in Australia held a Mass to celebrate the bicentenary of Catholic education in Australia.
