Fr Des Welladsen – 50 Years – Ordained a Priest of the Diocese of Sandhurst at Chiltern on May 20, 1972 “Seeing so many people use their talents and abilities to be part of the Church is inspiring and encouraging, if you create the right environment people’s faith-life can flourish and we all learn so much from each other. I hope people get faith out of their heads and into their body, into the rest of their life.” Rev. Fr Vin Walsh – 50 Years – Ordained a Priest of the Diocese of Sandhurst at Rutherglen on May 20, 1972 “My life in the priesthood on a personal level has brought me great satisfaction, with many highlights. Probably the greatest satisfaction comes from when people accept me, not specifically for who I am, but for what I am and what I represent.”
