Praying with Pope Francis for Our Common Home

Our Common Home 34 Mary, Queen of Creation, Mother who cared for Jesus, you care for this wounded world with maternal a ff ection. You treasured the life of Jesus in your heart (cf. Lk 2:19,51) . Now, you understand the meaning of all things. Enable us to look at this world with eyes of wisdom. Amen. Based on Pope Francis’, “On Care for Our Common Home,” Laudato Si, paragraph 241 God of Hope, help us to take charge of this home which has been entrusted to us, knowing that all the good which exists here on earth, will be taken up into the heavenly feast. We are on a journey with all creatures and we are seeking you, O God. Let us sing as we go. May our struggles and our concern for this planet never take away the joy of our hope. Amen. Based on Pope Francis’, “On Care for Our Common Home,” Laudato Si, paragraph 244 God of Light, give us light and strength to continue on our way. You love us so much, and you are always present, in the heart of this world. Do not abandon us. Do not leave us alone. May your love constantly impel us t o fin d new ways forward. Praise be to you! Amen. Based on Pope Francis’, “On Care for Our Common Home,” Laudato Si , paragraph 245
