Preparations for Building a Community of Belonging are well underway. Parishes are encouraged to bring a cohort of parishioners to the Sandhurst Formation Gathering, becuase it takes a Community to build Community.

Not long ago, I received a letter from a parishioner that pierced me deeply. He wrote bluntly, “I don’t want to be part of a moribund parish.”

In his homily at Paderborner Dom on Liborian Tuesday, Bishop Shane  emphasised the importance of St Liborius as a bridge builder between people all over the world.

“Liborius, the Gallo-Roman bishop from the 4th century, could never have imagined that a part of him would one day be in a continent called Terra Australis in a sphere-shaped world.”

Parishioners from Kyabram, Tatura and Echuca have participated in the first parish-based Goals Familiarisation Workshops in the Diocese.
