Parish Administration Staff from across the Diocese gathered online for their annual conference. On the frontline of parish life, these very special people wear many different hats, in finance, governance, insurance, IT, communications, pastoral care and psychology!  

 

Life in parish administration can be challenging and the annual conference is a means for administration staff to keep up to date and to ask questions of chancery staff.   Guest speakers covered topics such as parish insurance, parish administration technology, planned giving and banking, the new diocesan naming policy, inclusion and accessability and the Sandhurst Mission and Pastoral council consultation and preparation process. 

 

 

The day also functions as a bit of a re-charge for parish administration staff, who enjoy catching up with each other, sharing ideas and having a laugh. 

 

 

Di Teitzel, Office Manager at St Brendan's Shepparton said, "The day was well organised and full of information, a lot of food for thought to take home.  Hopefully we'll be able to meet in person next year."
