The Priests Retirement Foundation of the Diocese of Sandhurst is shining a light on the importance of caring for the priests who have spent their lives caring for others.
Built on the belief that every retired priest deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion, the Foundation provides vital support to retired and sick priests throughout the Diocese. Thanks to the generosity of donors, priests can access housing, medical care and assistance with everyday living expenses.
For decades, our priests have been at the heart of parish life, celebrating milestones, offering comfort in difficult times and supporting countless individuals and families. Yet, a lifetime of humble service and modest financial reward has often left little opportunity to save for retirement or prepare for periods of illness.
The annual appeal is a positive way for the community to give back and ensure that those who have faithfully served others can enjoy the care, security and peace of mind they deserve in later life.
Every donation makes a meaningful difference. Better still, all gifts are tax deductible and 100 per cent of every dollar donated goes directly to supporting retired and sick priests.
The Foundation's work is a powerful example of a community looking after its own. By supporting the appeal, donors help honour a lifetime of dedication while providing practical assistance that improves lives every day.
Together, we can ensure that our retired priests continue to be supported with the same compassion and generosity they have shown throughout their ministry.
Please support those who have given so much to our communities. Donate today and help provide dignity, care and hope for our retired and sick priests.
