Australian Bishops call for all Australians to unite in addressing the critical issues faced by the First Nations people.

Parishioners at St Mary’s Parish Echuca have created many opportunities for people to simply enjoy each other’s company and have some fun while raising funds for the parish, the latest being a very successful High Tea. Rob Morris shares the story.

The Shepparton community is mourning the loss of their faithful companion, Sr Rosemary Crowe fcj, who died at age 90 on 28 June 2024 in the 70th year of her religious profession.

On Friday 21 June, senior students of St Joseph's Primary School, Numurkah visited Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bendigo, where they enthusiastically inspected a statue of the founder of their school, Mary MacKillop of the Cross. On 12 June 2024, Bishop Shane knocked thrice on the main door of St Jospeh’s Benalla, officially re-opening the Church after months of restoration works to repair damage caused by a formidable 5.8 magnitude earthquake in October 2021.

Alana Brennan put her hand up for the SMPC for the very same reason she volunteered for her local Parish Pastoral Council: “I’d like to see people have the same enthusiasm for the Church that they display for their football Club,” she says.
