Project Compassion: Hope in Action

The last day of Term One was a whirlwind of action for students, parishioners and Clergy from across the Diocese, who answered the call to support Project Compassion – a beacon of hope for those facing poverty and adversity.

Elevating Mass with Music Ministry

Sacred Heart Cathedral welcomes Cantors, Anne Begg and Brendan Egan, who will join Joanne Bonazza and Sarah Gould in the Ministry of Cantor. Dr Paul Taylor, Director of Music, says the additional Cantors will bring fresh perspectives, enriching Cathedral musicians and the parish community.

The Young Adults group at St Brendan's, Shepparton is creating a vibrant community where faith and friendship intersect. 

Over sixty guests, including representatives from Brisbane and Melbourne L’Arche Communities came together on 23 February for the official Opening and Blessing of ‘Isabella’, a home in Strathdale, and a fourth residence for the L’Arche Bendigo Community.
